PROMO MECHANICS

  1. The Welcome Gift promo is open to all new-to-RCBC Bankard* card applicants who applied and subsequently got approved of an RCBC Bankard Visa Platinum or Infinite within the promo period, from February 15 to April 15, 2022 (IKEA) and February 18 to April 18, 2022 (POWER MAC CENTER).
    Promo extended until May 31, 2022 as approved by DTI-FTEB.
  2. Qualified RCBC Bankard cardholders must make a single-receipt or accumulated spend anywhere using their new RCBC Bankard within 60 days from card delivery. The Welcome Gift that the cardholder can redeem will be specific to the Card Type and the Spend Requirement, as indicated in the table below:

  3. Transactions made by the Supplementary cardholder will be qualified as part of the Primary cardholder’s spend.
  4. All posted retail and installment transactions in pesos and in other currencies are qualified for the promo including online transactions, mail & telephone orders and recurring payments or bills payment transactions.
    The following transactions are excluded from the promo: Cash Advance, Balance/Purchase Conversion, YourCash, Cash Loan, Balance Transfer, Mobile payment/mobile wallet (e.g GCash, PayMaya, ShoppeePay, Lazada Wallet, GrabPay, PayPal, PayMongo, Coins.ph, and the like), Casino/Gambling, Money Transfers, Quasi Cash Financial Institution, Political organizations, Bail, Bond Payment, Wholesale & Distribution.
  5. To avail, the qualified cardholder must register once online from February 15 (IKEA)/ February 18 (Power Mac Center) to April 30 June 30, 2022, at https://cloud.marketing.rcbcbankard.com/welcomegift-visa and input the following:
    • CARD EMBOSSED NAME
    • FIRST 8 DIGITS, and LAST 4 DIGITS of the CARD
    • PREFERRED WELCOME GIFT (IKEA GIFT CARD* or POWER MAC CENTER eGC)
      • Once the registration form is submitted, the selected Welcome Gift shall be considered final.
      *The Welcome Gift will be delivered to the cardholder’s billing address. By registering for the promo and only for the purpose of fulfilling the delivery, the cardholder agrees to share his/her NAME, MOBILE NO., and ADDRESS with RCBC Bankard’s courier. Cardholder agrees that, as applicable, the delivery fee of his/her Welcome Gift will be charged to his/her RCBC Bankard Visa.
  6. Qualified cardholder’s account must be active and current at the time of registration.
  7. Qualified cardholders who have met the required spend amount specific to their card product and who have successfully registered will receive a confirmation or voucher code via SMS which will be sent to their registered mobile no. based on the schedule below:

  8. The cardholder can only avail of the offer and receive a Welcome Gift once for the duration of the promo.
  9. The cardholder will be charged the cost of the Welcome Gift if he/she cancels the qualifying purchase and/or if the credit card transaction or redemption is found to be fraudulent.
  10. The cardholder agrees not to cancel his/her RCBC Bankard within 24 months from its issue date. In addition, by redeeming the welcome gift, the cardholder agrees to pay the full amount of the Annual Membership Fee. If the cardholder requests for card cancellation or waiver of annual membership fee, the amount equivalent to the welcome gift shall be charged to the cardholder’s credit card account as cancellation fee. The cancellation fee must be paid in full before the RCBC Bankard may be cancelled by RCBC Bankard Services Corporation (RBSC).
  11. The offer cannot be exchanged for cash, rewards points, or products other than the offers indicated above.
  12. The offer is not valid in conjunction with ongoing promotions for new RCBC Bankard cardholders.
  13. All employees of RCBC Bankard, RCBC, and YGC are not qualified to avail of the offer.
  14. In case of dispute with regard to the customer’s eligibility and availment of the promo, the decision of RCBC Bankard with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if the dispute involves Rewards Partners and its performance and/or delivery of services and/or products to cardholders, subject to the Promo Mechanics stated above, the decision of RCBC Bankard & Rewards Partner with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
  15. All questions and issues related to the promo can be accommodated beyond the promo period but in no case beyond thirty (30) days from the issuance of last SMS confirmation.
  16. The promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of RCBC Bankard Credit Card.

Welcome Gift Process
IKEA Gift Card
  1. The IKEA Gift Card will be delivered to the cardholder’s billing address on file within 15 business days from receipt of SMS confirmation.
  2. The delivery fee of the IKEA Gift Card will be charged to the qualified cardholder’s RCBC Bankard Visa. Cost for the delivery is between P130 to P170.
  3. The IKEA Gift Card can only be used for in-store purchases.
IKEA GIFT CARD FAQs (based on IKEA’s GIFT CARD Terms & Conditions)
  1. How does an IKEA Gift Card work?
    The IKEA Gift Cards can be used exactly like cash to pay for purchases partially or fully at IKEA Pasay store Check-outs, Restaurant, Bistro, IKEA cafe and Swedish Food Market.
  2. Can I use an IKEA Gift Card to pay for Delivery, Installation and Assembly services?
    No, you cannot redeem for Services.
  3. Where can I use the IKEA Gift Card?
    The IKEA Gift Card can only be used in-store (i.e. IKEA Pasay) and in the country where it is bought.
  4. How many times can I use the IKEA Gift Card?
    You can make multiple purchases with the same Gift Card as long as it carries a balance.
  5. Do I have to spend the exact amount on the IKEA Gift Card?
    No, if your purchase amount is less than the value of the Gift Card, the balance can be used for your next purchase.
    If your purchase amount is greater than the card value, you will need to make the additional payment in cash, or with a credit card or with another IKEA Gift Card.
  6. Can I use the IKEA Gift Card for online purchases?
    No, you cannot use the IKEA Gift Card on our e-com website. The IKEA Gift Card can only be redeemed in-store (IKEA Pasay store).
  7. How can I check the balance of my IKEA Gift Card?
    You can check your gift card balance at the cashier.
  8. Can I reload the IKEA Gift Card when the value runs out?
    No, the IKEA Gift Card is not reloadable. You can purchase another Gift Card instead.
  9. Can I combine the balances of multiple Gift Cards for a single purchase?
    Yes, you can multiple gift cards to pay for a single purchase.
  10. Is there a maximum number of IKEA Gift Cards or gift card value I can use per transaction?
    No, there is no maximum limit.
  11. I returned a product I paid for with my IKEA Gift Card. How will you post the refund?
    For valid refunds, we will reload back to the gift card.
  12. Can IKEA Gift Cards be convertible to cash?
    No, the value of the gift card cannot be exchanged for cash. There will be no cash change to be given on purchased made using gift cards.
  13. Can IKEA Gift Cards be transferrable?
    The bearer of the Gift Card can use it to purchase. The value of the gift card cannot be transferred to another gift card.
  14. Can IKEA Gift Card be returned or refunded?
    No, this option is not allowed.
  15. What if my IKEA Gift Card gets lost or stolen?
    Lost or stolen IKEA gift cards cannot be replaced.
  16. Do IKEA Gift Cards expire?
    The balance on the gift card does not expire but the physical card has to be revalidated every 2 years. To revalidate the gift card, just go to any Check Out of IKEA Pasay store
Power Mac Center eGC
  1. Cardholder will receive a Power Mac Center eGC via SMS
  2. To redeem, the Power Mac Center eGC must be presented at the counter of any participating Power Mac Center or The Loop branch
  3. The Power Mac Center eGC must be fully consumed in one transaction and can only be used for in-store purchases
  4. The Power Mac Center eGC has no expiry
